Mattea's checkup

When Mattea was born she weighed 7lbs, 11oz. She lost a bit of weight (to be expected) but by the next week had almost gained it all back. Well, it's been almost 3 weeks since she was born and a health nurse came by to weigh and measure her again. She tipped the scales at 9lbs, 4oz! Like I said in an earlier post, "She's a Johnson. She knows how to eat." What she doesn't know how to do is to enjoy being weighed and measured. You be the judge: does Mattea like what's going on?




Despite her protests, Mattea received a clean bill of health. Good heartbeat. Great skin tone and clearly, good lung capacity. So what did it take to calm her down? Just a little bonding time with daddy.
